Inspired by a sunny day in Newport Beach CA where I was walking on the pier and the sail boats were lazily enjoying the day when I noticed this surfer. She seemed so enamored with the boats as if she envisioned herself on one of them. It was such a sweet scene, I had to run home and paint it!
